Understanding Your Needs

At Premier Pediatrics, we know how important it is to reach us when you need us. Whether you are worried about your child’s fever, scheduling an appointment between back-to-back work meetings, or just reaching out to a trusted source for parenting advice, reaching your pediatrician is critically important.

We’re Parents, Too.

We get it. We are parents, too, and we are committed to quick and easy accessibility. For this reason, we would like to take a minute to offer a quick primer, “Contacting Premier 101”, so we can be there when you most need us.

Klara: Your Invaluable Communication Tool

For starters, our parents tell us that they find Klara, our password-protected texting system, to be invaluable. We agree. During office hours, we make it a priority to quickly respond to Klara texts, whether they are administrative, scheduling, or clinical. Typically, we respond within the hour. Feel free to text again if you are still waiting to hear back within the hour.

Phone Communication During Office Hours

During office hours, you can reach our office by phone as well. If the front staff is busy helping other parents or patients in the office, please leave a message, and someone will return your call within the hour.

After-Hours Support

At some point, you may need medical advice when our office isn’t open. If you have an urgent question after hours, please call our main phone line and leave a message. You will receive a call from the Premier Pediatrics doctor on call or our partners at the Cleveland Clinic nurse service between 7 pm-7 am. During this time, a Premier doctor is always on call for backup.

Striving to Always Be Here for You

Whether talking through Klara or by phone, we always strive to be here for you. Our communication is of paramount importance. If you have difficulty getting through to the office, contact us at manager@premierpediatricsny.com. We realize how important this is and want to ensure we are always there for you – our Premier families.
