Premier Pediatrics is taking the Covid-19 outbreak extremely seriously. We are putting in place protocols designed to keep our office as safe as possible.
Prior to each visit, each family will be asked a series of questions designed to stratify the risk of coronavirus exposure. If a family or patient needs urgent attention but screens positive, we will use telemedicine when appropriate. We also cannot perform testing for Coronavirus on-site.
All patients with non-urgent visits will be asked to reschedule the visit for a later date.
Our staff has been diligently cleaning the office, paying particular attention to door handles, counter surfaces, examination tables, as well as the waiting room and reception area throughout the day. We also have posted signage throughout the office.
We have created “Premier Covid-19 Bulletin”. We will update this bulletin as the situation changes. If there are urgent updates, we will send emails directly.
In an effort to limit traffic in the office, at this time we ask all patients to send forms via Klara or email. Forms will be returned via our patient portal. If you are not enrolled, the office will assist you over the phone.
We will not be accepting anyone in our office that does not have an appointment. There are absolutely NO walk-ins.
Families should try to gather information from our website before placing a call to the office, use Klara, our HIPAA compliant email system when possible, be flexible when we need to change an appointment, and limit after-hour calls to urgent concerns.
We understand that this is a difficult and anxious time but let’s work together and keep our practice and community healthy and safe. Here are some helpful tips to keep your family safe.
Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands
Avoid close contact or sharing cups and utensils with anyone who is sick.
Cover your mouth with a tissue after you cough or sneeze and immediately discard.
