We’re here for you, even after hours, for urgent matters concerning your child’s health. Our after-hours care uses a two-step triage system to ensure you get the right support:

  1. Initial Assessment: A trained pediatric nurse will answer your call and provide expert guidance based on your child’s condition.
  2. Pediatrician Support: If further care is needed, one of our pediatricians will be contacted to assist.

Simply call our office number, and we’ll take care of the rest. Your child’s well-being is our top priority!

If you plan to drive to your child’s appointment, be sure to leave time before arriving to park your car.

Weekend visits are reserved for urgent care only. Ongoing issues, wellness visits, and routine care will not be addressed during these hours.

Symptoms Treated

Weekend visits are intended for acute issues such as:

  • Fever
  • Cough
  • Congestion
  • Ear pain
  • Other sudden or urgent symptoms

How to Schedule

  • Urgent care only: These visits are strictly for acute onset conditions.
  • Contact us: After office hours on Friday and until 8 AM Saturday, you can send a message via Klara to request an appointment.
  • Appointment scheduling: Our team schedules appointments on a rolling basis during this time. Please note that availability is limited as only one doctor will be on duty.

Important:
We strongly encourage scheduling sick visits during the week if your child has been unwell, rather than waiting until Saturday morning. This helps prevent time slots from filling quickly. If you call the service for an appointment, they will hold your call and direct you to send a message via Klara.

Location

The on-call doctor will confirm whether your appointment will be at our NYC or Brooklyn location.

Weekend Hours

  • Saturdays: Appointments begin at 9 AM.
  • Sundays: Closed (except during extended holiday weekends, when Sunday hours may replace Saturday hours).

For Non-Visit Urgent Matters

If your child requires urgent attention but does not need a visit, our on-call service remains available to assist.

We are closed on the following holidays*:

  • Martin Luther King Jr. Day (Close early)
  • President’s Day
  • Memorial Day
  • June 19th
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving & the Friday after Thanksgiving
  • Christmas Day
