New York Pediatrician, Dr. Sylvain Weinberger

Premier Pediatrics was started in October of 1985 by Dr. Sylvain Weinberger at 326 East 18th Street in a brownstone built by Peter Stuyvesant’s granddaughter in 1856.

Weinberger received his medical degree from University Cath De Louvain and has been in practice for more than 20 years.

Dr. Weinberger spent the previous five years practicing Neonatal Medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center while running the NICU. His interest in having longer-term relationships with his patients encouraged him to change his Pediatric focus.

In 1990, Premier Pediatrics opened a second office in Park Slope, Brooklyn.
