The Zipline
Premier’s Adolescent Mental Health Program.
Our Adolescent Program helps Premier’s older patients build a closer relationship with their primary pediatrician while receiving coordinated care from a team of doctors, parents, and adolescent specialists in the neighborhood and beyond. With the dramatic increase in the prevalence of mental health challenges in our adolescent population, Premier has developed a new program, The Zipline, designed to ease access to adolescent mental health at Premier and beyond.
First, all of the providers at Premier have received additional training in the management of ADHD, depression, and anxiety. As a result, when appropriate, we are able to prescribe medication rather than refer to mental health providers. This saves time and money for our patients and their families.
Second, we have developed a large network of local social workers, psychologists, neuropsychologists, and psychiatrists so we are able to match our patients with specialists that meet their needs.
Third, we have developed mental health workshops for parents of patients in order to build community and help the whole family which ultimately benefits our patients.
At the 18 year well visit, often parents or children ask about the age to transition to an “Adult Doctor”. We suggest that patients stay with us through college or 22 years of age. At Premier, we offer a reliable medical home. Keeping the patient-practice bond strong helps you feel secure as other changes occur.

At Premier Pediatrics, we are committed to providing a diverse, inclusive, and affirming environment for all members of the LGBTQIA community.
