Dear Patients and Families,
We hope this message finds you well. We want to take a moment to reaffirm our commitment to providing the highest standard of care to all of our patients, and to clarify our position on some important matters regarding pediatric health.
As part of our ongoing dedication to evidence-based practices, we fully support the positions of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG) on the use of Tylenol (acetaminophen) during pregnancy. Based on decades of scientific research and rigorous studies, both the AAP and ACOG have made it clear that acetaminophen is safe to use during pregnancy and in infancy. As always, we trust and follow the science in guiding our care decisions.
We also want to emphasize our unwavering support for all of our patients, including those with neurodivergence. We are here for you and your family, committed to providing compassionate, individualized care that recognizes the unique needs and strengths of each child.
Regarding vaccines, our position remains steadfast. We continue to believe in the safety and efficacy of vaccines, supported by decades of research, clinical studies, and expert consensus. Our commitment to promoting public health and protecting children remains unchanged.
In addition, we will continue to follow the guidance of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) regarding vaccine schedules. Our stance on the safety and efficacy of vaccines has not changed, and we remain committed to ensuring your child receives the necessary vaccines on time, as recommended by the AAP.
We know that navigating these complex topics can sometimes be challenging, and we are always available to answer any questions or concerns you may have. Our goal is to empower families with knowledge and to offer the support necessary to make informed decisions about your child’s health and well-being.
Thank you for entrusting us with your child’s care. We look forward to continuing our work together in support of your family’s health.
Warm regards,
The Premier Pediatrics Team
